OSPF Special Area Implementation, Antonius Duty Susilo (Antonius Duty Susilo, Indonesia). The OSPF link state routing protocol uses the concept of Areas, which are sub-domains within the OSPF domain. A router within an Area maintains the complete topology information of that Area.To understand the OSPF Area types, review of OSPF LSA types. There are several area types.
