All EV charging stations are required to be equipped with GFCI protection to prevent against electrocution. Fluke’s FEV100 adapter is the only EV charging station tester that includes GFCI troubleshooting.

To open the charging cycle, turn the CP switch to either the C or D position depending on the ventilation requirements of the charging station.

The green LED will light up. Press the GFCI test button. You will hear a mechanical disconnection sound coming from the station. The station should terminate a charging cycle as soon as the GFCI button is pressed.
