Many access and aggregation networks use TDM circuits with explicit bandwidth and resiliency requirements. Evolution to Segment Routing introduces management challenges which are not addressed by current IETF work or Flex-algo. We outline our multi-layer PCE approach to holistically manage circuit-style services over SR with DWDM underlay, increasing operational flexibility and resiliency.
