It introduces comprehensive device health monitoring, remote and VLAN-based SPAN capabilities, dynamic port profile automation, and streamlined RADIUS configuration management. Cloud-based packet capture and analysis, MAC blocklisting, and adaptive policy enforcement enhance network security and management.
The firmware also includes digital optical monitoring for connected devices. Beta testing starts in the second quarter with a stable release expected in the third quarter. Meraki aims to maintain simplicity while enhancing integration with other products and introducing advanced features to meet evolving network demands.
