Brian Gerrard started BAE, a dating app for African Americans, because the process of dating - quite frankly - stunk. His team with BAE was wildly successful in bringing people together. And because of that, Brian realized his passion was bringing people together, whether it’s dating or any sort of community. BAE was acquired by the Meet Group, a company that “helps millions of users find connection and community within our portfolio of mobile apps and services”. Now, as one of their leaders, Brian is able to use his STEM skills to pursue his core passion of bringing people and communities together.
