Meet Shubham Banerjee, 8th grader and inventor who built a low-cost braille printer using Intel Edison technology to help give over 200 million blind people an affordable way to read. Shubham says, I saw the first letters that came out over the braille printer and I felt like I can actually have an impact. The Intel Edison was the only solution.

In between classes and football practice, Shubham Banerjee started his company, Braigo Labs Inc., to commercialize his product. Today braille printers cost over $2,000. Shubham will sell his for $500, giving more people access to read.
