Segment Routing provides the ability for network operators to map traffic flows to network function services, such as a firewall for security, parental controls, or a codec for video processing. However, the way SRv6 and SRm6 implements this capability are slightly different. In this video we will explore the functioning and benefits of the SRm6, as compared to that of SRv6.
