Shell announced that they won a bid to develop 5GW of floating wind power in the UK. 5GW is enough electricity to power approximately half the homes in London England. This is a big deal.. So what's a bit confusing about all of this is that most of you recognize Shell as the logo on your neighbourhood gas station. They are an Oil & Gas company that generates $170B in revenue, mostly from their oil & gas business. So what's happening with this wind announcement?
