Path diversity can be difficult, if not impossible, to achieve in networks that leverage distributed path computation engines. However, the Juniper NorthStar Controller provides a solution. With its global view of the network, NorthStar can successfully compute and manage diverse pairs of SR-TE or MPLS LSPs and instantiate them in the network.
