Hosted at this year’s OFC, over 47 companies were involved in the showcase that ran across 1,000km of fiber. Key to the demo’s success was Adtran’s FSP 3000 open line system (OLS). Stephan discusses why Adtran’s technology is such a good fit for these types of demos and examines why the 1,000km distance is such an important factor.
