Ciena’s recently unveiled 8700 Packetwave Platform has been given the highest rating possible by a group of some of the most influential names in the Cable MSO industry. As part of BTR's Diamond Technology Reviews, now in its ninth year, Ciena’s 8700 was given a top rating of 5 Diamonds, the only product out of 52 submitted to achieve this score.
In addition, the 8700 was also named this year's Diamond Technology Reviews Innovation Award Winner, given to the product that best demonstrates a game-changing technology.
