Have you ever been in a server room and you can't find which switch is exactly the one that you are after?
Maybe you've taken over as System Administrator of a network, and there is no physical documentation of which switch is where.
Or possibly you have a stack, and you need to do physical configuration on a specific stack member, but you don't know which switch is which.
Find-me is an Allied Telesis feature which addresses these problems.
When enabled, find-me will flash all the LEDs on a switch, for a set period of time. This can be extremely useful in a large server room with lots of racks of equipment.
Watch this video for an interesting demonstration of find-me.
