If the ASBR that is redistributing external routes into OSPF goes down, how do other routers know to withdraw those external routes?
what you'll learn from this video:
If a router goes down, other routers cannot prematurely age the LSAs that the now-down router was originating. So, when an ASBR goes down, the routes it was redistributing are withdrawn by other routers because they no longer have a route to the ASBR.
