This is a brief demonstration of two new features under development in CA Workload Automation CA 7: the Web Service Job and the CHGSTAT command.

The Web Service Job feature lets you define a job that will send a payload to a RESTful API endpoint.

In this way, the Web Service Job acts as a client of the RESTful endpoint. The application behind that endpoint acts as the server. It can update the status of the Web Service Job using a new command: CHGSTAT.
