Network failures of any type are concerning. However, some are more insidious than others. More importantly, is that root cause needs to be identified and repairs made quickly as customer traffic may be affected. Juniper’s automation products NorthStar and HealthBot work in together, providing self-healing networks where HealthBot automatically detects anomalies, potential failures, and failures when they occur, and then informs NorthStar to take relevant network actions to resolve the issues. In many cases, NorthStar and HealthBot will alert you before issues occur and even prevent failures from happening in a make-before-manner.
